Contract/Part-Time Commercial Real Estate Attorney - Retail Leasing Focus Law Life Coach is pleased to present this exclusive listing: We are seeking an experienced commercial real estate attorney to join our team on a contract or part-time basis, focusing primarily on retail leasing work for family-owned shopping centers. About the Role: This is an opportunity to work with established, recurring clients on substantive commercial real estate matters while maintaining the flexibility of remote work. Our clients are primarily family-owned shopping center landlords throughout CA and AZ who value long-term relationships and quality work. You'll handle the full spectrum of retail leasing matters including drafting, negotiating, and revising lease agreements on behalf of landlords, as well as amendments and assignments. Work also includes purchase and sale agreements (representing Sellers typically), and occasionally commercial real estate finance matters. • Hit the ground running: we have templates for each client and recurring relationships • Steady meaningful work: strong client base and consistent work flow • Fast-paced but manageable: expectation of lease drafts with a 5 day turn around and amendments in 2-3 days • True Flexibility: fully remote, no benefits What You'll Need: • Active CA bar license • 5+ years commercial real estate experience, retail leasing strongly preferred • Ability to work independently • Experience with Title and Survey review useful • Commercial Real Estate Financing experience is a plus • Responsiveness and reliability Compensation & Details • $150/hour (this comp may have flexibility for a more senior attorney) • 15-20 hours per week (app. 800 billables annually) • Start date: ASAP • Fully Remote Apply tot his job
