Events Associate
Focus Partners Wealth is seeking an Events Associate to join their team! The Events Associate will support the orchestration of virtual and in-person events for wealth management advisors and their clients, ensuring effective and memorable gatherings.ResponsibilitiesWith direction of Events Manager and/or Head of Event Strategy, coordinate the day-to-day administration of events and programs including placing orders, BEO review, monitoring vendors, travel planning, restaurant reservations, facilitating company attendees, monitoring registration, tracking RSVPs, answering questions and resolving issuesUnderstand requirements for each event and act quickly to resolve problemsSupport planning events with Events Manager which includes attention to financial and time constraintsGenerate reports as needed for registration, housing, and to evaluate event’s successDaily utilization of CventDevelop content for event materials and draft copy of invitations, registration, websitesContinued Education tracking and submission post eventCreate and maintain events page in Asana for project management trackingEvents marketing support for project management tasks, i.e., creation of marketing assets and materials such as invitations, conference signage, swagSource and research vendors such as venues, caterers, transportation, etc. based on creativity, quality and costAdhere to budgetsManage all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processesCoordinate and manage HQ office eventsOnsite event management assistance for conferences to include onsite support, changing signage, registration, and check-inCatering Requests –research and order catering and meals for advisor requests as needed, for groups of 15+ attendeesOrder and track internal associate gifts and client gift requests, including but not limited to marriage, baby, sympathySkillsBachelor's Degree requiredExceptional interpersonal, verbal communication skills are required for interaction with various audiences and executivesSelf-starter, capable of multitasking and managing time and multiple priorities effectively, with direction and support of Head of Event StrategyAbility to remain calm under pressure without losing a customer-service oriented attitudeCapacity to embrace changing circumstances and handle appropriatelyAbility to lift/carry 50 lbs. to support in event set upsAbility and willingness to travel as neededBenefitsAnnual cash bonusComprehensive benefits packageMedicalDentalVisionLife insurance401(k)Company OverviewFocus Partners Wealth is an organization of wealth, asset, and business management resources that brings strength, innovation, and partnership to client relationships.
