Event Operations Coordinator
Sun Life is a leading financial services company, and they are seeking an Event Operations Coordinator to support various aspects of event management and digital solutions administration. The Coordinator will handle event requests, provide system support, and collaborate with business partners to ensure seamless event delivery across North America.ResponsibilitiesSupport for event booking process for onsite, offsite, virtual and hybrid events including:Reviewing space requests, providing alternative availability where applicable, creating events based on BPs requirements, sending event confrontationsCompleting missing event details and sending confirmations for event requests submitted through OSBRespond to inquiries in Event Services inbox in a timely mannerWorking off maintenance schedules with vendors (ie. HitPlay) to enter Maintenance holds, assisting with creation of Development Days, etcAssist with the closing/reconciliation process for events and catering servicesBuild and maintain close relationships with business partners to gain in-depth knowledge of objectives and expectationsMaintain and update contact list within Momentus for new SLF contacts, E&EX employees, etcCreate dashboards for new employees, new widgets for dashboards as requested etcProduce and distribute monthly internal communications/reporting (ie. CSATs, attendance, etc.)Support operational reporting and metrics as requiredSupport purchase coordinator tasks as requiredSkillsUnderstanding of event management logistics and hospitality business processesAbility to build strong business relationships and develop an understanding of unique needs of various key stakeholders, adapting quickly in a rapidly changing environmentAccounts payable/receivable coordination experience.
