**Key Responsibilities**
As an Evening Specimen Processor – Data Entry – Part-Time, your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing a vital part of the patient care process by ensuring laboratory specimens are properly received and routed for testing
* Data entering lab requests, double-checking test orders, and recognizing when corrective action is needed
* Working in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements
* Championing safety, compliance, and quality control
* Providing data entry support to ensure accurate and timely processing of laboratory specimens
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
* Typing proficiency, including 10-key
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
* 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
* Data entry experience in a production environment
