ETL Developer / Business Liaison - Boston, MA (Local MA candidates only)

About the position Responsibilities • Participate in crafting application architecture documents and ensure alignment with architectural standards. • Create design artifacts and support prototyping via proofs of concept (POCs). • Deliver high-quality code and perform peer reviews to meet design requirements. • Develop documentation for assigned modules. • Lead validation activities across functional, integration, system, and user experience testing. • Support “Go Live” planning and lead assigned activities. • Perform root-cause analysis of post-implementation issues and implement effective solutions. • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and prepare system appreciation documentation. • Conduct impact analysis of issues, prioritize tasks, and ensure production support meets SLA commitments. • Lead data integration projects and mentor team members to strengthen team capabilities. • Effectively communicate IT changes to business teams, ensuring smooth transitions. • Bridge the gap between business and IT by understanding both areas and providing actionable solutions. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • Minimum 3 years of experience with Informatica IICS ETL and Snowflake. • Experience with other ETL platforms (SSIS, ODI, CDATA). • Proven experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouses and data marts. • Strong SQL and Unix shell scripting skills. • Solid understanding of data integration, data quality, and data architecture principles. • Experience in relational, dimensional, and unstructured data modeling. • Familiarity with Agile software development frameworks. • Must reside within commuting distance of Boston, MA. Nice-to-haves • Snowflake certification(s) preferred. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders. • Ability to mentor and guide team members effectively.
