MyESA Therapist is a licensed mental health & wellness service provider that helps individuals receive Emotional Support Animal (ESA) evaluations through secure telehealth appointments. Our mission is to provide compassionate, ethical, and compliant mental health assessments.
Role Overview
We are seeking licensed Doctors (MD/DO) to conduct brief telehealth evaluations and determine whether patients qualify for an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letter under applicable federal and state guidelines.
This position is fully remote with flexible scheduling.
Service Coverage
The doctor will provide virtual consultations for patients located in the following U.S. states:
Alaska, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct telehealth evaluations and virtual mental health consultations via video or phone
• Review patient intake questionnaires and medical/behavioral history
• Determine ESA eligibility and issue recommendations when clinically appropriate
• Maintain accurate electronic notes and compliant patient records
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered care
Qualifications
• Active and unrestricted medical license (MD/DO)
• Must be authorized to practice (or able to provide telehealth services) in the listed states
• Comfortable conducting short telehealth consultations and evaluations
• trong ethics and professional communication skills
• Experience in telemedicine or mental health is preferred (not mandatory)
• Ability to work independently
Compensation
• Per-patient / per-evaluation basis
• Paid weekly
• Flexible workload — choose how many evaluations to take
Work Schedule
• Fully Remote
• Flexible Hours — work anytime, including evenings or weekends
