Job description: Kaeppel Consulting is looking for a PART-TIME ERP PROJECT MANAGER to manage ERP systems and IT projects and meet clients' high-quality standards. This is an average of 16 hours/week; a REMOTE position. The contract is expected to go till January 2025. Preferred Qualifications
ο· Project Management certification or proven experience managing large, complex projects
ο· Ability to lead teams and oversee the creation of work products
ο· Knowledge of local government operations
ο· Knowledge and experience with ERP systems
ο· Strong written and verbal communication skills
ο· Self-motivated and able to work through ambiguity
ο· Ability to collaborate with other staff on multiple priorities to meet both internal and external deadlines
ο· Ability to work with remote teams
ο· Familiarity with MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
ο· Familiarity with Project Management Tools, including Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, and other
online tools such as SmartSheets and Jira
ο· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Essential Functions
ο· Serve as the Liaison between the software provider and the client
ο· Manage the client's Project Team which consists of functional area experts
ο· Work with the software provider to develop an implementation project plan
ο· Understand and establish priorities
ο· Identify resource requirements and work with the client's ERP Steering Committee to assign the
appropriate resources to the project
ο· Monitor the performance of project tasks
ο· Assess and manage risks
ο· Ensure project deliverables are completed on time
ο· Anticipate issues or conditions that may impact the original estimate or project budget
ο· Prepare Project Activity reports in a timely manner
ο· Document project meetings
ο· Compile meeting minutes and project deliverables
ο· Implement appropriate project management tools
ο· Facilitate project management meetings online and in person
ο· Escalate issues when appropriate
ο· Regularly report project status
