ERP Project Manager (Part-time) _ Remote _W2 ONLY - Kaeppel Consulting - Virginia - work from home job Company: Kaeppel Consulting Job description: Kaeppel Consulting is looking for a PART-TIME ERP PROJECT MANAGER to manage ERP systems and IT projects and meet clients' high-quality standards. This is an average of 16 hours/week; a REMOTE position. The contract is expected to go till January 2025. Preferred Qualifications  Project Management certification or proven experience managing large, complex projects  Ability to lead teams and oversee the creation of work products  Knowledge of local government operations  Knowledge and experience with ERP systems  Strong written and verbal communication skills  Self-motivated and able to work through ambiguity  Ability to collaborate with other staff on multiple priorities to meet both internal and external deadlines  Ability to work with remote teams  Familiarity with MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio  Familiarity with Project Management Tools, including bolthires Teams, bolthires Project, and other online tools such as SmartSheets and Jira  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Essential Functions  Serve as the Liaison between the software provider and the client  Manage the client's Project Team which consists of functional area experts  Work with the software provider to develop an implementation project plan  Understand and establish priorities  Identify resource requirements and work with the client's ERP Steering Committee to assign the appropriate resources to the project  Monitor the performance of project tasks  Assess and manage risks  Ensure project deliverables are completed on time  Anticipate issues or conditions that may impact the original estimate or project budget  Prepare Project Activity reports in a timely manner  Document project meetings  Compile meeting minutes and project deliverables  Implement appropriate project management tools  Facilitate project management meetings online and in person  Escalate issues when appropriate  Regularly report project status Powered by JazzHR Expected salary: Location: Virginia Job date: Fri, 15 Sep 2023 04:33:03 GMT Apply for the job now!
