Epic Clinical Documentation Analyst
Overview
The Senior Epic Consultant is a key member of PivotPoint's Tier 2 Managed Service Division, responsible for configuring, managing and supporting clinical applications within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) software for healthcare clients. This role works support and maintenance tickets, performs routine build, participates in on-call rotation and works on special projects (including Epic Upgrades) as needed by the client.
Roles and Responsibilities
ā¢ Serves as a primary analyst on routine maintenance, build and configuration in Epic. This entails:
ā¢ Collecting, accurately documenting and resolving client trouble tickets and requests
ā¢ Participating in after hours on-call rotation
ā¢ Leads application build for their areas regarding Epic Upgrades. This includes:
ā¢ Nova Note Review
ā¢ Nova Note Build
ā¢ Unit testing, application testing and integrated testing
ā¢ Supporting the go live in a command center setting
ā¢ Proactively identifies areas for improvement within applications and suggests potential solutions in coordination with other teams
ā¢ Mentors junior analysts on Epic build
ā¢ Builds strong relationships both with the client and their peers
ā¢ Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities
ā¢ Must have a strong personal drive for delivering great customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment
ā¢ Ability to troubleshoot tickets, manage projects, and critically think
ā¢ Demonstrate knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, information systems, Microsoft products and related IT systems
ā¢ Certified in primary application. Additional certifications in Epic, ITIL, PMP are a plus
ā¢ Ability to organize daily tasks, analyze data and make decisions based on the data
Education and Experience
ā¢ Active Epic Inpatient (ClinDoc) certification
ā¢ Additional Epic Certifications are a plus
ā¢ Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience
ā¢ Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience
Work Location and Travel Requirements
ā¢ This position is 100% remote
Work from home requirements are:
ā¢ Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment
ā¢ High-speed internet service
ā¢ Work in a distraction free workplace
Compensation
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Highspring believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure to be between the range below. The individual may also be eligible for a variety of bonus and financial incentives based on individual and company performance.
Base Compensation Range
$70,000 ā $100,000 USD
