Key Responsibilities


Assist Program Administrators in developing, maintaining, and executing Delta's environmental health compliance programs, including the Airplane Drinking Water and Chemical Management programs.
Support the Director - Corporate Natural Wellbeing in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including EPA Airplane Drinking Water Rule, OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, and The Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act.
Help gather and analyze data to ensure compliance with government, state, and local regulations, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with internal workgroups across all levels to promote a culture of sustainability and environmental health.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other materials to support environmental health programs.
Utilize Microsoft applications, including OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, to manage and analyze data.
Demonstrate proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: SQL, Python, HTML, JSON, Java Content, or CSS.
Support current framework optimization and improvement projects.
Work effectively in a high-speed environment with short-notice circumstances.


Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:


Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Management/Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Science/Data Science, or a related field.
Strong technical written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction against strict regulatory deadlines.
Capacity to balance multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Experience with other relevant web applications, such as Smartsheets, Scene, PowerBI, Oracle Hyperion, Alteryx, or SAS.
High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered a plus:


Previous experience with environmental health programs or compliance.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including EPA Airplane Drinking Water Rule and OSHA Hazard Communication Standard.
Experience with data analysis and reporting.
Familiarity with Delta's environmental health programs and initiatives.
