As an Entry Level Welder, you will be part of a team that takes pride in its work and is dedicated to delivering exceptional results. Key Responsibilities As an Entry Level Welder, your primary responsibilities will include: Welding large parts and frames of railroad equipment for repair, removal, or refinishing using various welding techniques and processes. Performing MIG welding on 3/8" structural welds on carbon steel material in horizontal and vertical positions. Conducting GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), Carbon Arc welding, torch cutting, and plasma cutting/grinding operations. Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and high-quality work. Collaborating with colleagues to achieve production goals and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Embracing opportunities for professional growth and taking on additional responsibilities as needed. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess: Preferred Skills Experience with MIG welding, particularly on 3/8" structural welds. Knowledge of dual shield/fluxcore welding, GMAW, and Carbon Arc welding processes. Familiarity with torch cutting and plasma cutting/grinding techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, although formal training is not required. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Essential Qualities A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results. A willingness to learn and develop new skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying priorities. Physical stamina to work in a manufacturing setting, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects. Regular working hours from 6am-4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 6am-2:30pm on Fridays, with occasional Saturday shifts.
