As a result, a full-time position is available for an Entry level Traffic Engineer in our Warrenville, IL office.Responsibilities include:
Performing field observations of traffic conditions and traffic data collection
Traffic engineering operations analysis and modeling
Traffic safety studies and crash data analysis
Design of traffic control devices in AutoCAD/MicroStation
Preparing technical reports
Serving as on-site engineer in a client office
Assisting traffic engineers with other tasks such as solving complex problems while developing familiarity with the federal, state, and local design standards
A valid driverās license and some travel will be required.The successful candidate will have a bachelorās degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college.The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
Transportation engineering or planning degree
Passed FE exam
MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience
Synchro/Sim Traffic, HCS, MUTCD experience
