Entry Level Software Engineer/Software Tester

Amentum is seeking engineers to join their DOD R&D technology development team. The role involves coding, optimizing, and building software in an R&D setting, primarily using C++ or Java, while collaborating with government customers.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping graphical user interfaces for local tools with the team of usersDeveloping software updates using C++, Rational Team Concert, GitLab and other DevOps toolsSupporting test events through travel opportunities which vary, depending on the role assignedSkillsBachelor's Degree (in one of these: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Electrical Engineering, or Physics) from an accredited universityMust be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start).
