Entry Level Master Data Specialist

Job Description
Join our governance team to support Master Data initiatives as we prepare for an ERP implementation. The role focuses on centralizing and cleaning up master data across different plants to address current inconsistencies in the Bill of Materials (BOM).
Responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with the Quality Manager to receive and verify BOM details.
• Extract and analyze data from Excel sheets, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Transform data into spreadsheets compatible with our system for improved data consistency.
Essential Skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Comfortable handling large data sets and numerical information.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations.
Qualifications
• Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with inventory management and/or BOMs is a plus.
Work Environment
This position is primarily remote, requiring the candidate to be local to the St. Louis or IL area for on-site work one day every other week. The role is anticipated to last for approximately six months.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
