Job Overview: Entry Level Helper for Off Shifts We're seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our Hexacomb division in Arlington, TX, as an Entry Level Helper for off shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or advance their career in a manufacturing environment. As an Entry Level Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing operations, ensuring the production of high-quality products, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities Work safely and adhere to company rules and safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace for everyone. Perform various tasks such as feeding material into machines, stacking finished products, assembling paper products, banding pallets, and shrink-wrapping for shipment. Collaborate as part of a team to increase productivity, reduce downtime, and minimize waste. Assist in various jobs on the plant floor and participate in overall plant and facilities-related work. Follow lock-out tag-out procedures and maintain equipment per 5S Standards. Perform other duties as assigned, including stacking parts up to 30 lbs. for extended periods. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. A passion for maintaining a safe work environment. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test. Physical stamina to stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods. Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed. Authorization to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment. Machine operator experience. Forklift experience. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with production personnel. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to share ideas. The ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment and work with a sense of urgency. Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Access. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
