As an Entry-Level Helpdesk Technician, you will:

Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals
Assist with setting up new user accounts and managing access permissions
Document and track support requests using a ticketing system
Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams as needed
Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics
Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and supplies
Assist with IT projects and initiatives as assigned

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

High school diploma with 1-2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures

Preferred qualifications include:

An associate or bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
Experience with Windows operating systems
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications
Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting and configuration
Prior experience in a helpdesk or customer support role
