Job Description:
Blue Joule Corporation is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Draftsman to join our engineering team. This role will support the design and development of technical drawings and models using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and has a strong foundation in drafting and design principles.
Responsibilities:
- Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to support design requirements
- Revise drawings based on feedback and project updates
- Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to company and industry standards
Qualifications:
- United States citizenship is required due to the nature of our work
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Intermediate proficiency in SolidWorks
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or academic project experience using SolidWorks
- Familiarity with manufacturing or engineering environments
