Job Summary : Our Client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Data Analyst to support our retail client in analyzing data and providing insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of data analysis and some experience in the retail sector. Key Responsibilities :
Data Collection & Preparation :
Assist in gathering and preparing data from various sources, including sales, inventory, and customer data.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through preliminary data cleaning and validation processes.
Data Analysis :
Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in retail data.
Support the development of reports and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators and insights.
Reporting & Visualization :
Create and update reports and visualizations to communicate data findings to the client and internal teams.
Assist in presenting data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
Client Support :
Work closely with the client to understand their data needs and provide timely and accurate information.
Respond to data-related queries and support the clients analytics needs as required.
Market & Competitive Research :
Conduct basic market research to support the clients business strategies.
Analyze customer feedback and purchasing patterns to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Some experience or internships related to data analysis, preferably with a focus on retail or consumer-facing industries.
Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or SAP.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills with the ability to present data insights clearly.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a client-facing role.
Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of data analytics.
