Role Description (1099s only)
Enterprise Data Architect - Consultant (AIPPY Technologies)
Overview
AIPPY Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to serve as a strategic consultant supporting enterprise data modernization and AI-driven initiatives. This role will guide data architecture, design, solution roadmaps, and best practices across cloud, data, and analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures on Microsoft Azure.
• Architect and optimize data solutions leveraging Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Purview, and related modern data stack technologies.
• Provide technical leadership in data modeling, integration patterns, governance, and security frameworks.
• Support the development of AI/ML workloads using Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, or Fabric AI capabilities.
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define data strategies, solution blueprints, and roadmap priorities.
• Ensure best practices around performance, reliability, and cost optimization across cloud data platforms.
Required Experience
• Master’s degree or higher in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive data architecture & engineering experience
• Proven experience as an Enterprise Data Architect or similar role delivering enterprise data solutions.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure data and AI technologies.
• Strong background in data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, ETL/ELT design, and real-time data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of data governance, master data management, metadata management, data catalog, data lineage, and security standards.
• Excellent communication and consulting skills to lead conversations at both technical and executive levels.
• Experience in the manufacturing domain is a significant plus
