An exciting opportunity awaits for Enrolled Nurses to join the team at our Aged Care centre in Aurukun. selectability, a reputable aged care provider, help provide residential aged care services in the Lower Gulf of North Queensland. Enrolled Nurses play a vital role in the lives of the older persons by providing quality, responsive and compassionate care that supports a trusted and long-term relationship with our older persons. Working closely with the Regional Manager, Care Workers and the collaborative healthcare team, the Enrolled Nurse will provide person-centred care to support the older persons.

About you
To be successful you must:
be available to work a FIFO, Monday - Friday roster
have a positive attitude
possess clear and effective communication skills
possess excellent clinical problem-solving skills
demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
experience working in a team environment
Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, prioritise your own work
be able to follow policies and procedures at all times
proficiency in use of technology including but not limited to phones, emails and internet
be able to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals
Role requirements
a medication Endorsed qualification in Enrolled Nursing
full APHRA registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse in Australia
previous experience working in an Aged Care residential facility (highly desirable)
previous experience working in remote areas (highly desirable)
current Flu vaccination
current Covid vaccination- recommended
a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain prior to commencement)
NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' completion certificate
