About the Role
As an Engineering Manager, DashPass Subscriptions, you will be responsible for leading a team of full-stack engineers to build and maintain scalable systems that drive business impact. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define the roadmap and vision for the team and deliver immense impact. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading a talented team of full-stack engineers to own the subscription lifecycle for DashPass
Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to define the roadmap and vision for the team
Building an outstanding team by coaching engineers, empowering engineers through delegation, and applying technical expertise to hold the team to the highest engineering standards
Scaling the team by recruiting, retaining, and developing highly talented engineers across different disciplines
Inspiring the team with technical vision and creating alignment necessary to execute on it
Providing technical guidance and rolling up sleeves with hands-on contributions when necessary
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent
7+ years of industry experience
Minimum of 2 years of management experience
Strong hands-on experience with working with non-technical stakeholders, cross-team collaboration, and building scalable products in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle ambiguity and work with product and business partners to collect non-technical requirements to design and build scalable experience solutions
Ability to guide and grow an excellent engineering team in a rapidly changing business environment
