Engineering Manager

This position will be responsible for the overall leadership of mobile and static maintenance engineers within a geographical region. Specific responsibilities include client relations/retention, quality assurance oversight, employee assessment/staffing, scheduling, employee development and training, budget oversight, cost containment and reduction, short/long range planning, problem-solving, and new product/service delivery.RequirementsManage a team of engineers engaged in corrective and preventative maintenance of client facilities.Establish standards and work methods; take steps to assure quality of work and performance of employees within assigned region.Prioritize client driven work, preventative maintenance work, and special initiatives as identified.Understand account KPI’s, monitor teams’ performance, and adjust as needed to ensure KPI’s are being met.Assist with the development of training program for engineering personnel in region of responsibility.Determine qualification process to promote career growth within engineering teams.Ensure all employees within region of responsibility enter timecards timely and accurately.Measure/assess performance and potential of employees and recommend employees for current/future staffing needDemonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, being able to work effectively with all levels of personnel and clientBenefitsHealth, vision, and dental insuranceFlexible spending accountsHealth savings accountsRetirement savings plansLife and disability insurance programsPaid and unpaid time away from workOriginally posted on Himalayas
