This leader will be responsible for developing and executing an annual strategy focused on operational excellence, reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and eliminating variation within our manufacturing processes. This position ensures that the assigned manufacturing engineering team is operatingin accordance with Andersenโs values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead a team of engineers and technicians that support the day-to-day operations and implementation of advanced manufacturing systemsSet clear goals and objectives, assess progress, and instill a performance-oriented culture with a focus on accountabilityDeploy a strategy that builds, retains, and engages all employees through inclusion and teamwork, and provides a safe and special place to workAligns resources to strategic goals and objectivesWork with business partners and leverage data to determine project focus and improvement opportunities Provide resource allocation guidance for the engineering team through analysis of current and future state workload, skill, experience, and qualificationsDevelop, execute, and manage the capital and expense budgets for the engineering teamIdentify, recruit, and onboard talent as neededAcquire the appropriate people, technology, equipment, and financial resources necessary to meet internal and external customer expectationsProvide coaching, information, ideas, feedback, and encouragement to employees and managers to promote the growth and development of the engineering teamBe highly visible within the value stream to create a safe environment for collaboration and participationPromote a hands-on, high-involvement approach to problem solvingQUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:4-year degree in Electrical Engineering7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment2-5 years of experience in a technical leadership role (engineering, quality, etc.)Background in manufacturing preferredStrong coaching and people development skillsDemonstrated knowledge of basic corporate finance, budgeting, accountingStrong, proactive communicator, effective both 1:1 and in groupsAble to develop and maintain a respectful and safe work environmentPay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $108,941 to $168,859. PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate.
