Engineering Lead, Trading System (Web 3)
As the technical decision-maker for the exchange's core trading system, responsible for the architectural design, technical breakthrough, and team management of multi-category trading systems including spot, perpetual contracts, and options. You must possess top-tier high-concurrency, low-latency system design capabilities, financial-grade trading system development experience, and technical team leadership skills, ensuring the security, efficiency, and scalability of the exchange's core trading capabilities, and supporting global business expansion and product innovation. Responsibilities Build and lead the trading R&D team, fully responsible for team building, talent recruitment, development, motivation, and performance management, improving technical standards and processes to ensure technical delivery efficiency and quality. Plan the technical evolution roadmap for the exchange's core trading systems (including matching engine, order management), design a distributed architecture supporting high-frequency trading, ensuring low latency and high availability. Design unified architectural solutions for cross-product trading (spot, perpetual, options) to reduce redundant development and support rapid iteration of new trading pairs and derivatives. Work closely with various collaborative teams to provide users with rich trading capabilities and a good trading experience. Keep up with industry trends and continuously enhance the trading system's capabilities. Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field, 8+ years of backend development experience, 3+ years of trading system (securities, foreign exchange, futures, cryptocurrency) development experience, and 2+ years of team management experience. Proficient in at least one of Go/Java/Rust/C++, familiar with high-frequency trading system design and optimization. Possess practical experience in high-concurrency, low-latency systems, have led the design or optimization of systems handling 100,000+ transactions per second, and have experience in resolving major production environment failures and performance tuning challenges. Deep understanding of derivative mechanisms such as spot leverage, perpetual contract funding rates, and option Greeks, possess profound knowledge of the cryptocurrency market, familiar with leveraged trading, arbitrage strategies, and the market maker ecosystem. Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and conflict resolution skills, able to effectively drive cross-team collaboration and influence upstream and downstream teams and partners. Extreme pursuit of product quality, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to solve problems under high pressure. Possess excellent analysis, complex problem-solving, and systemic risk handling abilities. Nice-To-Have: Experience in building core trading systems for top-tier exchanges or traditional financial institutions (securities firms, futures companies). Fluent in English and Chinese.
