Engineer in Training, Site Civil Energy Practice

They are hiring an Engineer in Training to join their Energy Group in Columbus, OH, where the role involves designing site layout plans, utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D, and collaborating with project management to overcome obstacles. Responsibilities Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs Strong interest and working knowledge in survey, data collection, field reports, hydrology, sustainability, project delivery, site civil and stormwater management Proven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks Work with project management team to identify impediments and develop / implement solutions to overcome obstacles Perform pavement assessments and compiling data and reports Occasional field work, frequent local travel, and overnight travel as needed Draft and coordinate multiple task orders, including filing, coordination, correspondence, and deliverables Other duties as assigned Skills BS in Civil Engineering An Engineer Intern (E.I.) or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification Experience in Autodesk Civil 3d Experience in Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing) Strong interest and working knowledge in survey, data collection, field reports, hydrology, sustainability, project delivery, site civil and stormwater management Proven ability to multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow and complete tasks Experience in Hydraulics and Hydrology Benefits Freedom to Work program: Set your own schedule and location (as appropriate).
