Engineer Control Systems
Key Responsibilities
Application of technical knowledge and experience to provide innovative engineering solutions to meet a variety of customer requirements Use of and proficient in appropriate software related to your engineering background Support senior technical staff in complex transmission, driveline and hybrid control systems activities Development of embedded control systems and dynamic models in MATLAB / Simulink, including requirements capture, design and verification Specify and prepare sensors, actuators, instrumentation and data logging requirements Debugging of software on real time controllers Support control testing and data analysis activities Support and undertake functional vehicle development Undertake data logging and calibration in MIL/SIL/HIL environment Present and communicate technical information, clearly and concisely, both internally and to customers Where appropriate, undertake Project Lead role; leading a small project team to deliver a successful project outcome; from a technical perspective English language skills: High working proficiency
General Responsibilities
Generate and maintain relationships with customers at an appropriate level Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with peers and technical leaders Support the project team in the creation of technical proposals and resourcing estimates Understands and follows professional standards and technical best practices project management, quality, communication etc. Actively undertake continued professional development Participate in activities to share technical knowledge and know-how across the team.
