The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing end user computing solutions that enhance productivity and user experience across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft Windows environments and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and supplier partners to ensure seamless integration and support.The TeamBlack & Veatch's Business Enablement consists of critical groups that help enable the organizations people, projects, and businesses to be as successful as possible. Functions in this group include Digital & Information Technology, Global Finance, Global Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, and Government Affairs and Real Estate and Building Services.Key Responsibilities
Design and architect end user computing solutions to support a diverse application portfolio with an emphasis on engineering titles.
Develop and implement strategies for managing and securing end user devices, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to assess and address end user computing needs, providing technical guidance and support.
Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to optimize end user experience.
Lead the deployment and management of Microsoft Windows operating systems and related core applications.
Monitor and analyze fleet health and performance to proactively identify and address issues to ensure optimal user experience.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience with cloud-based end user computing solutions, such as Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop or Amazon WorkSpaces.
Experience with endpoint security solutions, such as Crowdstrike, Rapid 7 and Zscaler.
Experience working with the ITIL service management framework.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience coordinating activities of in-house and vendor technical teams.
Proven experience as an End User Computing Architect or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft Windows environments.
Experience configuring and managing Windows device management solutions, Microsoft Endpoint Management (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.
Experience with use of user experience management tools for fleet management.
Knowledge of scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell, to streamline end user computing processes
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus.
