Wage: $19.00-21.00/ hour
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Employee Engagement Specialist to
support our new hires through their onboarding journey. This entry-level role plays a key
part in ensuring that employees feel welcomed, supported, and equipped to succeed from
day one. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and passionate about creating a
positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Serve as a guide and primary point of contact for new hires during their first 90 days.
ā¢ Facilitate onboarding check-ins and follow-ups to ensure smooth integration into the
workplace.
ā¢ Follow a structured 90-day employee engagement plan to monitor progress, provide
support, and address concerns.
ā¢ Provide resources, tools, and information to help new hires navigate their roles and
workplace effectively.
ā¢ Triaging issues that arise during check-in meetings, escalating or partnering with the
appropriate teams to resolve them.
ā¢ Track and document engagement touchpoints, ensuring accurate reporting on employee
experiences and trends.
ā¢ Collaborate with HR, managers, and other stakeholders to improve the onboarding and
engagement process.
ā¢ Support initiatives that foster a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or
related field (or equivalent experience).
ā¢ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
ā¢ Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
ā¢ Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive and supportive
attitude.
ā¢ Passion for employee experience, engagement, and development.
ā¢ Previous experience in HR, customer service, or a people-focused role is a plus, but not
required.
