Employee Benefits Account Representative, Select

USI Insurance Services is one of the largest insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the world, seeking an Employee Benefits Account Representative to assist the account management team with the service and retention of small employee benefits clients. The role involves preparing materials for client meetings, managing client documentation, and providing administrative support to ensure effective client relations. Responsibilities Assist account managers with preparation of materials for client meetings and renewals. Includes benefit summaries, annual renewal changes, enrollment procedures, and miscellaneous benefit changes/clarifications Assist with the preparation of client compensation disclosures Request census data from clients and gather general client information from identified carriers Track receipt of ID cards, booklets, and contracts Request contract changes and/or plan amendments as needed Verify accuracy of client plan documents Provide general administrative support for the account management team Develop client/carrier contact sheets Maintain accurate client and team information in agency management system Maintain client documents in ImageRight and network drive Ensure accurate and timely response to all outstanding issues Respond to requests from all partners by stated timeframes Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners, clients, and carriers Skills Candidate MUST sit near a USI Office in Illinois, Wisconsin or in the St. Louis, MO area Minimum one-year Employee Benefits / Insurance experience Must hold Life and Disability Insurance License Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products Detail oriented and prioritizes accuracy Ability to work independently and in a team environment Eager to learn new concepts and further professional development Open to feedback and coaching Ability to define problems and generate potential solutions College degree preferred Customer service experience preferred Knowledge of BenefitPoint and ImageRight preferred Benefits Medical Wellness Dental and vision 401(k) Flexible spending and health savings accounts Short and long-term disability Life insurance Other unique employer-sponsored and voluntary programs Generous paid time off policy Paid family leave benefit Paid holiday time Company Overview USI Insurance Services is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm that delivers diversified insurance and financial services.
