Employee Benefits Account Associate
General Description: Assist Account Management Team in the service and retention of clients.
Responsibilities:
Assist Account Managers with Policy Renewal and Open Enrollment process
ā¢ Help prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) by obtaining census data from clients and gathering general client information from carriers/administrators
ā¢ Aid development of Policy Renewal Analysis with proposal review and data entry
ā¢ Request contract changes and/or plan amendments from carriers/administrators as needed
ā¢ Contribute to creation of employee Benefit Guides and Open Enrollment Materials for employee educational meetings
ā¢ Review employee Benefit Summary drafts for clients including policy changes and clarifications
Assist Account Managers with day-to-day operations
ā¢ Process employee coverage additions, changes and terminations in carrier/administrator online portals
ā¢ Fulfill requests for supplies from clients
ā¢ Track receipt of ID cards, booklets, and contracts
ā¢ Verify accuracy of client plan documents
ā¢ Provide general administrative support for the team
ā¢ Develop client/carrier/administrator contact sheets
ā¢ Maintain accurate client and team information in agency management system
ā¢ Maintain client documents in shared drive
ā¢ Ensure accurate and timely response to all outstanding issues
ā¢ Respond to requests from all partners by stated timeframes
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
ā¢ ā¢ Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
ā¢ ā¢ Organized, detail oriented and prioritizes accuracy.
ā¢ ā¢ Ability to work in a team environment.
ā¢ ā¢ Eager to learn new concepts and further professional development.
ā¢ ā¢ Open to feedback and coaching.
ā¢ ā¢ Establish effective working relationships with internal partners, clients, carriers and administrators.
ā¢ ā¢ Industry specific experience not required, but office administrative experience is helpful.
ā¢ ā¢ Must hold or be willing to earn Life, Health, and Disability insurance license
