The Emerging Leader Insurance Professional role aims to develop future leaders through a two-year program that includes training, mentoring, and hands-on experience in various core roles within the organization. Responsibilities Participate in the Emerging Leader Program Complete a two-year curriculum of industry-leading training that includes in-person and virtual workshops, mentoring and coaching, job shadowing, online eLearning modules, and hands-on experience working in a business simulation Engage in a two-year work rotation to develop understanding and skills in core roles involved in being an insurance professional, which may include Underwriting, Claims, or other parts of the organization Travel to live workshops as required Upon successful completion of the two-year work rotation, be placed in a permanent work assignment based on business needs Skills Completed STD 678 application Resume Transcript (unofficial or official) Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification Ability to describe a time when you took initiative to address a challenge or improve a process without being asked Ability to share an example of when you had to adapt your approach after receiving unexpected feedback Ability to give an example of a time when you worked with people from different teams, backgrounds, or perspectives to accomplish a shared goal Company Overview State Compensation Insurance Fund is a non-profit organization that provides workers compensation insurance.
