job summary: Randstad Engineering Solutions is actively seeking qualified Embedded Software Engineers to perform software development activities for Avionics systems. NO TPV's 100% Must be able to work Eastern time hours location: Grand Rapids, Michigan job type: Contract salary: $60 - 75 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Activities may include the following: requirement development, architecture/design development, software implementation, test case and test procedure development (automated and manual), unit test development, verification and analysis for Onboard Maintenance System (OMS) and Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) projects. This will involve working with C, Java, Python, and Ada (porting to C) on Linux, LynxOS, and A653 platforms, adhering to DO-178C processes and utilizing tools such as RTC/Azure, Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, Virtual Machine/Virtual Box, Jenkins, Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL), IBM Rational Test RealTime, and Robot Framework.
