What You Will Be Doing • Conducting daily morning sessions that inspire and prepare student-athletes for the day's challenges • Delivering 1:1 motivational coaching tied to academic achievement and personal development • Guiding life skill workshops through storytelling, reflective exercises, and hands-on coaching methods • Overseeing afternoon athletic training sessions that cultivate resilience, collaboration, and responsibility • Monitoring student development and maintaining rigorous expectations for both mindset and execution Basic Requirements Elite Sports Mentor key responsibilities • We're looking for former elite athletes who have competed at the highest levels of sport — Olympians, World Champions, professional athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, or NHL, or NCAA Division I All-Americans • Bachelor's degree in any subject • Demonstrated experience applying sport as a vehicle for mentoring and teaching life skills • Proven track record of motivational leadership in athletic, academic, or professional contexts • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship • Willing to reside in or relocate to Austin, TX About Sports Academy Texas Sports Academy is Where Future Champions Excel in Academics and Athletics Traditional schools force student-athletes to choose between excelling in academics or committing to their sport. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
