Elementary School English Language Arts Tutor (Part-Time) - Inspire Young Minds!

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Elementary School English Language Arts Tutor to provide one-on-one, in-home tutoring to students in grades 1-6. You must be able to adapt to different learning styles and have the integrity and knowledge to encourage students to excel beyond expectations.
Job Overview:
Provide English Language Arts tutoring to elementary school students (grades 1-6)
Develop and implement personalized lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student
Teach students to improve their reading fluency, decoding, and comprehension skills
Assist students with homework help, organizational skills, and spelling
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and provide progress reports to families and our office
Responsibilities:
Provide a session report for our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session
Effectively balance tutoring hours for each assigned student
Professionally teach students to fit their individual needs
Service existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests
Follow up with our office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields preferred
Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus but not a requirement
Experience with basic database/data entry and ability to prepare lesson plans
Strong administration skills, typing, PC, and recording skills
Reliable transportation with current car insurance is required
Access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates based on experience and qualifications
