This role involves the design, development, and maintenance of robotic systems with a strong emphasis on electrical engineering principles. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise in robotics and electrical systems, contributing to the advancement of automated solutions in our organization. Key Responsibilities Design and Development: Create electrical designs for robotic systems, including circuit design and integration of sensors and actuators. System Integration: Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical components into robotic systems. Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct rigorous testing of electrical systems within robots, diagnosing and resolving issues as they arise. Programming: Develop and implement software for controlling robotic systems, utilizing programming languages such as C++, Python, or ROS (Robot Operating System). Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, tests, and modifications to ensure compliance with industry standards. Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics technology to continuously improve system performance and efficiency. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in robotics engineering or a similar role, with a focus on electrical systems. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for designing electrical circuits. Strong understanding of control systems and automation technologies. Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a relevant field. Experience with machine learning applications in robotics. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to robotic systems.
