Electrical Engineer I/II

The Electrical Engineer I/II role is an entry-level position focused on supporting the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for unmanned aerial systems (UAS). Responsibilities include assisting with wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions. Responsibilities Electrical System Support: Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components for UAS platforms Wiring and Harnessing: Support the production and documentation of wire harnesses using Altium and other tools Debugging and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic circuit issues on UAS platforms Integration Assistance: Work with mechanical and software engineers to integrate electrical systems into UAS platforms Documentation: Maintain schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for electrical systems Testing: Conduct electrical tests and assist in developing test procedures to verify system functionality Collaboration: Work with production teams to address non-conformance issues and implement solutions Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field 0-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with exposure to UAS systems or similar projects (internships or academic experience welcomed) Familiarity with Altium or similar design tools Basic knowledge of analog and digital circuits Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Benefits Comprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more. 401k with company-match 4 weeks of paid time off each year 12 annual company holidays Company Overview Zone 5 Technologies is an aviation component manufacturing company that develops and tests unmanned aircraft systems.
