Electrical Engineer I

As an Electrical Engineer I, you will gain hands-on experience in fieldwork and design, supporting the assessment and design of electrical power systems while collaborating with experienced engineers on various projects. Responsibilities Collect and utilize field data Perform and complete low voltage design work Participate in field work as needed Understand project scopes and schedules Complete SKM modeling Compile drawings and submittals Provide submittal review support Conduct AHJ and code research Coordinate RFIs between engineering and project teams Contribute to project plan development Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) 1+ years of experience in low voltage design Basic knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other CAD software Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Analytical and problem-solving skills Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working both in the field and at a computer Strong work ethic and emerging leadership skills 1+ years of experience in low voltage design Benefits Annual bonus: up to 10% of base salary Work from home (no relocation required) Flexible working hours Health, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid disability and life insurance Four weeks’ vacation + 7 paid holidays 401k plan with company match Family-oriented culture with career growth opportunities Company Overview Echo Power is an independent engineering and project management firm specializing in the design, build, and maintenance of critical MEP systems.
