As an Electrical Engineer, you will design and develop electronic solutions, conduct experimental tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create reliable systems.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electronic parts, modules, and/or systems, applying engineering methods to designContributes to research and development efforts by establishing operating data to improve electrical system designsCollaborate with cross-functional engineering design teams to design and modify custom and OEM system componentsPerform hands-on test and validation utilizing lab equipment to characterization of the performance of the electrical/ electro-mechanical systemsPrepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, analysis, and results to diverse audiences in design reviewsSkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with no previous professional experience; or equivalent work experienceHands-on experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital), signal and controls theory, development and associated electrical board design, troubleshooting and validationFamiliarity with CAD tools for circuit design and simulation (e.g., PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, AutoCAD, Spice, ADS, HFSS)This is a graduate eligible roleKnowledge in application of power and controls technologies for systems automationFamiliar with design for serviceability, manufacturability, reliabilityKnowledge of troubleshooting systems with tools like network sniffers, protocol analyzers, and tool logsOral and written communication skills including technical presentationsCompany OverviewLam Research supplies wafer fabrication equipment and services to the worldwide semiconductor industry.
