EHS Advisor - Data Centres (Nordics)
About the position
Arcadis is seeking an experienced EHS site advisor to join their rapidly growing team. The role will be key in the delivery of a major data centre construction project in the Nordics. The successful candidate will be based either 100% in country, or there will be significant international travel.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Provide direction and support for implementation of the EHS & Security Plan
ā¢ Verify that the project/site-specific EHS procedures protect personnel and the general public.
ā¢ Hold line management accountable for EHS Management System implementation and performance.
ā¢ Encourage the proactive involvement of all personnel in executing the EHS program.
ā¢ Oversee EHS performance on the project/site.
ā¢ Review incident records and verify that all follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner.
ā¢ Ensure incidents where personal injuries occur are thoroughly and appropriately investigated and ensure closure of subsequent action items.
ā¢ Participate in audits and weekly planned inspections of the site and ensure closure of subsequent action items.
ā¢ Continuously monitor Arcadis and contractor EHS performance indicators and project / site inspection reports.
ā¢ Conduct performance evaluations to include personal EHS involvement and performance.
Requirements
ā¢ Extensive experience in a EHS Manager role on major construction projects
ā¢ Experience working in consultancy, general contractor or client-side environments
Nice-to-haves
ā¢ Experience working on data centre/technology project experience preferred but not essential
