Educational Tutor
We are seeking highly qualified candidates to assist students with course work, help prepare them for standardized testing and to guide and support students with their academic performance.
Our teachers work with students online, one-on-one, in real time. They utilize multiple teaching modalities to achieve student success, assess and evaluate student progress, and adapt instruction as needed. Our teachers communicate regularly with parents and the director regarding their work with each student, document their work and email notes to parents after each meeting.
The required education/experience is a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, a teaching certificate and a minimum of 2 years classroom teaching experience or three years tutoring experience. Candidates will need a laptop computer, basic computer skills, a passion for teaching and education, strong interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills, an ability to engage and inspire learners, and a warm and friendly disposition.
Candidates need to be willing to take qualifying assessments and undergo a background check, in accordance with North Carolina law/regulations. New Hires will be classified as Independent Contractors.
