Responsibilities:Objectively analyze, tag, research, and write about movies and series with attention to detail, while also understanding the underlying creative intentMeet tight, dynamic deadlines in a fast-moving, professional environment and assure the highest quality of outputDevelop an understanding of emerging film markets, and successfully interpret the business strategy for these regionsMultitask, self-direct, and self-manage day-to-day aspects as well as other editorial and innovation projects including A/B tests that require cross-functional collaborationKeep their finger on the pulse with regard to current affairs and cultural moments, while also being aware of historical, political, social and/or sensitive issues from across the region Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills, especially with core cross-functional partnersRepresent and advocate for the core Editorial Creative team, while also building successful partnerships in regionMaster internal tools and systems successfullyQualifications:Prior experience in an Audio/Visual role such as Content Specialist, Insights Strategist, Metadata Analyst or Platform Editor.Passionate about movies and series with a deep knowledge of the entertainment industry and the global streaming and EMEA entertainment landscapeKnowledge of and passion for pop culture and new media trends, including other entertainment platformsAbility to distinguish nuances within different movie and TV genres and distill the essence of a film/series, including sharing findings in an objective, concise mannerExperience demonstrating excellent cross-functional skills in previous roles, including presentation skillsStrong leadership, time management, and communication skillsExperience working with large data catalogs is a plusFluency in Excel, Airtable, Google Sheets, or other data trackers and data management systems is a plusFull professional fluency in English is requiredFluency in Arabic requiredAdditional European language knowledge a plus
