Job Description UW Medicine’s Patient and Family Education Services department has an outstanding opportunity for a Editor-Publications. WORK SCHEDULE 8 hours per week Day Shift PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide editorial and proofreading feedback on all patient education documents produced by the Patient and Family Education Department Use analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Utilize computer applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Perform data entry accurately and completely. Conduct work tasks in a professional, friendly, customer focused manner, while maintaining confidentiality Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to UWMC policies/practice guidelines. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in English, journalism, humanities, or related field; OR four years of combined college education and editing experience; OR four years of full-time publication editing experience. Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
