Responsibilities

Develop functional testing scenarios as well as detailed functional test cases.
Manage project deadlines, as well as your time and schedule in a fast-paced federal environment.
Review and generate complex test plans, generate test case data, build procedures and testing scripts based upon functional specifications.
Execute test cases, coordinate and execute tests, log and validate defects, debug and document.
Maintain DSTRs.
Define Level of effort for building test cases.
Support integration test efforts between external systems and EDI (third-party providers).
Testing for EDI requirements.
Assist test lead/manager to define and refine functional testing approaches, tools, automation and documentation.
Interact with Federal and contractor functional leads to clarify requirements and scenarios.
Assist the Federal and contractor resources to conduct User Acceptance Testing.
Respond to developers' questions regarding test results, bugs and defects.
Communicate frequently with customers and team members, facilitating discussions an exercising professional judgment as required.

Qualifications

10 years' of IT Industry experience (Required).
Experience mapping and supporting EDI based transactions (Financial/Medical).
Knowledge of EDI, X12/EDIFACT standards and practices, and EDI translators
EDI experience (setup, mapping, testing, processing, troubleshooting).
Proficient in EDI layouts (loops, segments, data elements).
Perform EDI onboarding and testing with applicable third-party providers.
Create workflows, process flows, and Manage EDI Maps and Connections.
Create project plans, test plans, conduct end to end testing.
Translator tool knowledge and experience.
Working with SQL Server databases.
Experience in ETL/Data Warehousing skills.
Experience in Agile methodology.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and understand Functional, Technical architecture design documents and analyze test requirements.
Strong co-ordination, communication & reporting, analytical skills.
Experience in testing Java, .Net, Web, SOA, ETL based applications.
Having some level Java development experience.
Prepare test data for various test cases/scenarios.
Exposure to multiple SDLC models like Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile models.
Strong skills in SQL, Oracle, MS-Access.
Intermediate understanding and experience with Unix and Windows.
Momentum expert, with functional and technical knowledge of the application including experience with large, complex Momentum implementations (Nice to have).
Jira/Agility expertise (requirements tool of some sort).
Experience working with and understanding User Stories.
Experience in creating test plans, test cases, test scripts, test procedures, test design, record defects, requirements traceability and test execution.

Education:
Master's Degree in related field of study.
Clearance:
The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation.
Location:
Remote, USA.
Pay Range:
The pay for this position ranges from $50,205 to $65,375.
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
