Early Childhood Development Specialist

Remote Full-time
Our client, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting child development and family well-being, is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Development Specialist. This is a fully remote position, requiring a deep commitment to fostering the growth and learning of young children through innovative program development and support for educators and families. You will be responsible for designing engaging curriculum modules, providing virtual training and resources to childcare providers, and offering consultation services to parents. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of child psychology, early learning theories, and effective strategies for supporting diverse learners. You will leverage technology to create impactful online learning experiences and facilitate virtual community building.

Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and educational materials for early childhood settings. Creating engaging online content, including lesson plans, activities, and training modules for educators and parents. Providing virtual coaching and support to childcare providers and families on child development best practices. Conducting virtual workshops and webinars on topics such as positive discipline, social-emotional learning, and early literacy. Assessing the developmental needs of children and recommending appropriate interventions or resources. Staying abreast of current research and best practices in early childhood education and development. Collaborating with internal teams to develop and enhance program offerings. Maintaining accurate records of client interactions and program outcomes. Utilizing technology platforms to deliver services and foster engagement in a remote environment. Advocating for the needs of young children and their families within the community. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working directly with young children in an educational or care setting is required. Proven experience in curriculum development and delivering training, preferably in a virtual format, is essential. Strong knowledge of child development theories and practices is a must. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively in a virtual space, are crucial. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other virtual collaboration tools is highly desirable. This is a fully remote role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on early childhood development from your home office. Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
