E-Commerce Executive β Marketplace & Online Merchandising
Overview
Our client is a well-established retailer and distributor of everyday consumer products with a growing presence across leading e-commerce marketplaces.
We are recruiting a UAE experienced E-Commerce Executive / Online Merchandiser to manage and optimize product content and catalogue performance across third-party marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.
The role focuses on creating accurate, commercially effective product listings that enhance the customer experience, improve visibility, and drive online sales.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Manage and maintain accurate product listings across e-commerce platforms, including pricing, descriptions, images, inventory, and compliance with brand and operational standards
β’ Monitor inventory levels and work with internal teams to prevent stock issues and listing disruptions
β’ Track and analyze online sales performance, traffic, conversion rates, and customer behaviour, providing regular insights and reports
β’ Conduct regular audits across websites, mobile platforms, APIs, and marketplaces to ensure data accuracy, visibility, CTAs, and search effectiveness
β’ Identify issues impacting sales performance or customer experience and take timely corrective action
β’ Support and execute digital marketing campaigns, promotions, seasonal sales, and product launches
β’ Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth fulfilment and a consistent customer experience
β’ Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends to inform commercial decisions and optimization opportunities
Mandatory Skills & Experience
β’ 3+ yearsβ experience in online merchandising, marketplace operations, and e-commerce catalogue management.
β’ Hands-on experience managing third-party seller platforms including Amazon Marketplace, Noon, Mumzworld, and similar.
β’ Strong working knowledge of Shopify, including bulk import/export tools such as Matrixify.
β’ In-depth understanding of e-commerce SEO metadata best practices (meta titles, tags, keywords).
β’ Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action to improve conversion rates and user experience.
β’ Proficient in Excel and common e-commerce or CMS tools.
Candidate Profile
β’ Currently based in the UAE with the ability to live and work in Dubai.
β’ Fluent in English β must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
β’ Professional appearance, communication style, and work ethic.
