E-commerce Data Analyst / Prompt Engineer (Monthly Shopify Reports – Long-Term)

Hi! We’re a fast-growing backend agency for dropshipping brands, and we’re looking for someone who can help us create high-quality monthly performance reports based on Shopify order exports. These reports give our clients insights into: Store performance Product performance Refund rates & issues Customer service trends Until now, we’ve been generating these reports using AI (ChatGPT), but we want to take this to the next level by working with someone who can build a solid, reliable prompt system (for example using Claude or similar tools) and ensure consistent, high-quality outputs. What you’ll do: Analyze Shopify order exports (CSV data) Create and optimize prompts to generate structured reports Deliver clean, accurate monthly reports based on our SOP and examples Continuously improve the output quality over time Important: You will receive: A clear SOP Example reports Guidance on what insights we want But we expect you to think along, structure things smartly, and take ownership of the output quality. Trial Assignment: We will test multiple candidates. As part of the selection process, you’ll be asked to create a sample report based on provided data. Workload & Payment: Paid per report Initially: a few hours per month After setup: only a few minutes per report (once your prompt/system is built) We are growing fast, so workload will increase over time Who we’re looking for: Strong analytical skills (comfortable with data & patterns) Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) Able to write structured prompts and improve them iteratively Detail-oriented and consistent Reliable and meets deadlines Interested in long-term collaboration Bonus if you have: Experience with Shopify data Experience with e-commerce / dropshipping Experience building reporting systems or dashboards About us: We’re a warm, ambitious company with a close-knit team.
