The Driver Helper position at Waste Management involves assisting the Route Driver in the collection of waste and recyclable materials. Responsibilities
? Assist the Route Driver in the collection of waste and recyclable materials.

? Manually or mechanically load and empty residential and/or commercial containers into the truck.

? Operate hoisting devices to lift and empty bins or containers into the truck hopper.

? Assist the driver with all backing maneuvers while on route.
,
? Immediately report all unsafe situations or service-related issues to the Route Manager or Dispatch.
,
? Attend and participate in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings as required.
,
? Notify the Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
,
? Communicate customer requests to Dispatch or Route Manager.
,
? Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch and assist other drivers as directed.
Requirements
? Six months of prior work experience required.
