Drinking Water and Reuse Engineer

Brown and Caldwell (BC) is seeking a Process Engineer to support our growing Drinking Water and Reuse practices. The role involves collaborating with clients and project teams to develop innovative solutions for drinking water treatment and preparing technical reports and presentations. Responsibilities Work hand in hand with clients and project delivery teams in the northwest to develop unique solutions that protect public health Support drinking water treatment designs in the northwest including PFAS-related water treatment projects involving process selection, preliminary and detailed design, and services during construction Prepare technical reports regarding water quality and regulatory requirements Evaluate treatment approaches for water quality parameters, including constituents of emerging concern Prepare and make presentations to clients and for professional meetings Assist in developing and preparing process design drawings, specifications, calculations, plans, models, and other technical deliverables for a variety of water projects Participate in professional organizations Skills M.S. or Ph.D. degree in related engineering field (Environmental, Civil, etc.) Experience with bench-, pilot-, and full-scale treatment studies Desire to develop strong project management or project engineer skills Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and prepare written reports Benefits Medical Dental Vision Short and long-term disability Life insurance An employee assistance program Paid time off and parental leave Paid holidays 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match Performance-based bonus eligibility Employee referral bonuses Tuition reimbursement Pet insurance Long-term care insurance Company Overview Brown and Caldwell is the largest engineering consulting firm solely focused on the U.S. environmental sector.
