Drafting Supervisor
About the position
As a Drafting Supervisor, you will spearhead the design and development of underground natural gas distribution systems. You will be responsible for delivering cost-effective, high-quality engineering solutions that exceed customer expectations while navigating complex regulatory landscapes. By championing our 'No Compromises' philosophy, you will ensure your team maintains the highest benchmarks for precision, safety, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Work with Drafters to perform analysis and quality assurance on gas installation paperwork submitted by field personnel
ā¢ Lead Drafters to achieve productivity and quality goals
ā¢ Maintain records for documentation and reporting
ā¢ Communicate project updates daily
ā¢ Analyze procedures for continuous process improvement
ā¢ Train employees in proper procedures and specifications
ā¢ Interview and hire members in the drafting department
ā¢ Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
Requirements
ā¢ High School Diploma or equivalent
ā¢ Prior experience working with underground utilities
ā¢ Proficient in use of AUTO CAD software and free-hand drafting
