About the positionResponsibilities• Develop and produce radiation oncology treatment plans per physician prescription.• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists using computerized and manual treatment planning tools.• Research patients' needs to create the best treatment plans.• Perform radiation dosimetry functions including treatment consultation and imaging.• Participate in departmental meetings and assist in teaching medical residents and therapy students.• Engage in special task groups as directed.• Perform treatment consultation, imaging, fusions, contouring, three-dimensional planning, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, proton planning, and emergency treatment planning.Requirements• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification required.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.• Ability to learn and apply complex procedures.• Effective communication skills.• Strong decision-making and judgment capabilities.• Strong human relation skills and organizational skills.Nice-to-haves• Graduated from an approved Medical Dosimetry Program through the American Association of Medical Dosimetrists (AAMD).• MDCB board eligible status.Benefits• Competitive compensation• Comprehensive benefit plans• Opportunities for advancement• Continuing education support Apply tot his job
